How to Create a Favorites List in Your Online Photo Gallery in Pixieset

At Jay Grubb Photography & Video, we know that choosing your favorite wedding photos can be one of the most exciting parts of reliving your special day! That’s why our online photo galleries make it easy to create a Favorites List—perfect for saving images you love, sharing with family, or selecting photos for albums and prints.

Follow this step-by-step guide to start building your Favorites List right from your personalized Pixieset gallery.


Step 1: Open Your Online Photo Gallery

Look for the link you received via email or text to access your online gallery.

  • Click the gallery link to open it in your browser.
  • Your gallery will display collections or albums (such as “Getting Ready,” “Ceremony,” or “Reception”) depending on how your event was organized.
💡 Tip: You can access your gallery from a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Step 2: Browse and Tap the Heart Icon

As you scroll through the images, hover over (or tap on) any photo you love. You’ll see a heart icon appear.

  • Click or tap the heart to add the image to your Favorites.
The first time you "favorite" a photo, you will need to enter your email. This helps you keep track of your favorites in the gallery!
  • The heart will fill in to show it’s been selected.
You can favorite as many photos as you like—there’s no limit!

Step 3: View and Edit Your Favorites

To see your list:

  • Look in the top right corner of the gallery and click “Favorites” (on mobile, it may appear in the menu icon).
  • From here, you can view your selected images in one place.

To edit your Favorites list:

  • Click the “heart” again to remove a photo.
  • You can also add notes or comments on individual images—great for sharing feedback or album ideas.

Step 4: Share Your Favorites List (Optional)

Want to share your list with your partner, family, or with us to help design your album?

  • Click into your Favorites collection.
  • Tap the “Share” icon (it looks like a paper airplane or arrow).
  • Choose to copy the link or email it directly.
