How to Download Photos to Your Computer for Social Media

Whether you're updating your profile picture, sharing memories on Instagram, or tagging your loved ones on Facebook, we've made it easy for you to download web-optimized versions of your photos from your gallery. These “Web Size” images are perfect for sharing on social media while keeping the file size fast and friendly for online use.
Follow this quick guide to download your favorites in just a few clicks!
Step 1: Open Your Online Gallery
You’ll receive a direct link to your gallery via email from Jay Grubb Photography & Video.
Click the link to open your personal gallery in your web browser.
💡 Tip: We recommend using a computer for downloading multiple photos more easily.
Step 2: Enter the Download PIN
If a download PIN was provided, you’ll need to enter it before downloading.
This PIN helps protect your privacy and ensures only those you’ve shared it with can download the images.
Step 3: Browse & Select Your Favorite Photos
You can scroll through your gallery or use the Favorites heart icon to select specific images.
To download individual photos:
- Hover over the image and click the download arrow icon (⤓).
- Select “Web Size” when prompted.
- Your image will download immediately to your computer's default download folder.
Step 4: Download an Entire Gallery (Optional)
If you'd like to download all your web-size photos at once:
- Click the Download icon at the top right of the gallery (cloud with arrow).
- Enter the email address and download PIN (if required).
- Choose “Web Size” as your image size.
- Select either “Entire Gallery” or specific Collections.
- Click Start Download – you’ll receive a .ZIP file with all your social-media-ready images.
What is Web Size?
The Web Size option is ideal for online sharing. It provides great quality at smaller file sizes, which:
- Load quickly on websites and apps
- Are perfect for social platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and more
- Retain sharpness without taking up storage space
❗ Note: Web Size images are not recommended for printing. For high-quality prints, download the High Resolution version.
