How to Share Your PixieSet Online Photo Gallery with Family and Guests

After your wedding, engagement session, or special event, you’ll receive a beautifully curated online photo gallery from Jay Grubb Photography & Video, hosted on PixieSet. You may want to share these memories with loved ones, and PixieSet makes that easy!

This step-by-step guide will show you how to share your gallery with family and guests, and help you understand the difference between your client login and the guest experience.


Understanding the Logins: Client vs Guest

Before sharing your gallery, it’s important to understand the two types of access:
Client Login (You!)
As the primary client, you'll have a private client login that gives you full access to download images, manage favorites, order prints, and hide any images you don’t want visible to guests.

Guest Login (Family & Friends)
Guests can view your gallery without logging in as you. They’ll see only the images that are publicly visible and can download or order prints if you've enabled that option.


Step-by-Step: How to Share Your Gallery with Family & Guests

Step 1: Open Your Gallery Link

Once your gallery is ready, you’ll receive a custom link via email from Jay Grubb Photography & Video. It will look something like:

Click the link to open your gallery.


Step 2: Copy the URL

Once you’ve opened the gallery in your browser:

  • Highlight the web address (URL) at the top of the screen.
  • Right-click and select Copy, or press Ctrl+C (Windows) / Command+C (Mac).


Step 3: Share the Link

Paste the link into a message or email to your friends and family.

You can share it via:

  • Text message
  • Email
  • Social media
  • Wedding website

No password? No problem! If the gallery is public, your guests will be able to open and enjoy it right away.


Step 4: Provide the Guest Password (If Enabled)

If Jay Grubb Photography & Video enabled a guest password on your gallery:

  • Share the password along with the link.
  • Guests will be prompted to enter it before viewing the gallery.
 This keeps your photos secure while still allowing access to loved ones.


Step 5: Help Guests Download or Order Prints (Optional)

If downloads or print orders are available:

  • Guests can click on individual images or use the download/print icons at the top of the gallery.
  • All pricing and order options are easily accessible through the “Buy Photo” or “Download” buttons.
Guests can even have their prints delivered straight to their home.
🎯 Tip: Want to hide a few images before sharing? Log in with your client password, click on the photo you want to hide, then click "Mark Private" near the top of the page. On a web browser the gallery view may have a "private" icon on the photo you can use to mark photos as private. Now the photos you selected will be visible to you but not to your gallery guests!
