- Choose & Coordinate Your Outfit. No Logos or Neon Colors.
- Schedule a Same Day Hair & Makeup Trial
- Bug Spray, Proper Shoes, Towels & Backup Outfit

Selecting Your Photo Session's Location
Having photographed in over 500 unique spots in Florida & Georgia, I have kept an extensive list of incredible locations & experiences for couples to enjoy. Throughout our session together, I guide you through fun activities, with using techniques that feel natural with a touch of romance & joy. If you booked a wedding with Jay Grubb Photography you'll also receive wedding tips that you can expertise throughout the day. As a full time wedding photographer, I have over 500 photo sessions & 500 Weddings captured. My goal is to ensure during your experience you are working with a creative photographer that can adjust to your personality, individually & as a couple. Each engagement photography session is personally tailored around your location's environment, abilities, & personal preferences. Blended with my signature handcrafted photography style, you'll enjoy not just the photos, but your experience will last a lifetime memory. Drone Photos & Video Available
Love a unique view? Be sure to check out my packages that include my DJI Mavic Air 2s a premium drone we use for wedding highlights films. Having flown for drones for over 8 years, you be delighted to know I am FAA certified Drone Pilot & have the flying experience in getting "the shot" quickly. I'll even train you how to pose or "act" for this unique and different perspective for drone photography and video.
YES.. While most of my sessions are local in southern Jacksonville & St Augustine, I have ventured countless times to the Mountains all the way to Key West for couples photo sessions. I love to travel & travel to most of Florida & Coastal Georgia for couples & engagement sessions. On occasion, I also travel to South Carolina and North Carolina with travel expense being covered by the couple. Having captured countless engaged couples all over Florida, I can suggest the most unique photography locations or look up your suggestions. Keep in mind, certain locations gas/travel need to be covered. Reach out to get a travel quote.
I personally use a professional level Canon R5 45 MP Mirrorless Full Frame Camera as my primary camera. Paired with a variety Canon LS Premium Lenses , your photos are captured in superior clarity, extremely high resolution, and stunning color accuracy with a natural look of skin tones. For sunrise, sunset or dusk session, I may use an off Camera Flash (OCF) technique that results in drastic skies and lowlight dark and moody vibes.
You'll be delighted that I always have have a backup camera & gear for every session, event, & wedding.

*Drone Flights are subject to weather, location, & FAA regulations. Each Pet at photo sessions is $50 Additional Per Hour and we reserve the right to refuse service anytime should we feel in danger without a refund. Each Additional Human Subject is $50 per hour.
